Playing Cards
My Digital File Preparation and Workflow class tasked students with developing a unique deck of cards using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. The deck includes 52 unique faces, artwork on the back, and a case for the cards.
I drew inspiration from ransom and collage-style artwork when developing my deck. After several iterations of the face card illustrations, I landed at an abstract and symmetrical design which is carried throughout the rest of the deck. My color palette was simple and primary, yet whimsical and bright.
